The environment in which the County Governments Kenya operate is dynamic and changes often. 2017 elections brought new such as 3 female governors for first time history of Kenya. Despite this county governments continue to apply old traditional methods solve kind problems. This has led numerous reported cases corruption, political rivalry, conflict interest, mismanagement funds undue procedures followed contrary existing regulations. general objective study was establish influence transformational leadership on change management among devolved units Specifically, aimed at determining idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation individual consideration management. research adopted Transformational-Transactional Leadership Theory, Kotter’s 8 Step Change Model ADKAR model change. A descriptive design used research. 47 served population. relied primary data collected through questionnaires. converted into quantitative format make analysis using statistical package social sciences. statistics generated were included mean standard deviation inferential both correlation multiple linear regression analysis. revealed a significant positive relationship between stimulation, units.
